    Our Client's Project Finance Latin America Group is looking for a Bilingual Vice President (English/Spanish) to join the team, with a focus on Infrastructure. The Project Finance Latin America Group is located in New York.

    The candidate will be responsible for originating, structuring and executing complex infrastructure project finance transactions in Latin America (financial advisory and lending), including transportation (ports, airports, roads, bridges, rail, subways, etc.), social infrastructure (hospitals, schools, detention centers, government facilities, etc.) and water related projects (aqueducts, irrigation, desalination, water treatment, etc). The candidate will work closely with the Infrastructure Sector Head and will also be expected to manage, train and mentor the more junior members of the Project Finance Latin America Group during the deal execution process.

    Responsibilities:

    - Lead the origination and execution of complex project finance transactions in Latin America with new and existing clients and with little oversight from the sector head. Cross-sell products that enhance return for the Bank (DCM, Financial Advisory, deposits, etc.)
    - Present the transaction internally, lead the preparation of credit applications for all new transactions, manage the credit process with the Credit Department and back office, perform any due diligence activities, negotiate documentation, etc.
    - Continuouly monitor and manage existing transactions, including the review and processing of waivers and amendments, internal reports, special credit requirements, etc.

    Qualifications:

    Experience/Knowledge Requirements
    - Minimum of 5 years prior experience in the project and/or structured finance field with a primary specialization in infrastructure finance in Latin America. 
    - Experienced in originating loans, guarantees and/or equity transactions, managing due diligence, financial modeling, mitigating credit and other risks, negotiating term sheets and finance documentation and related activities.

    Overview:

    Our Client's Global Trade Finance Department is looking for a Vice President who will be responsible for profit generation and client relationships for trade finance products related to South American financial institutions, with a focus on Brazilian financial institutions. This position will be expected to (1) to manage active client accounts and find new prospective clients for the growth of the portfolio, (2) assist in the growth and development of members of the GTFD F.I. Team, and (3) identify in advance key risks that may affect the performance of the portfolio and propose appropriate actions for a corrective strategy.

    Responsibilities:

    (1) Responsible for meeting budgets and results measurements; managing FI trade finance portfolio in line with the bank's credit appetite and profitability requirement, allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections.
    (2) Identify, orignate and conclude FI trade finance transactions with existing and new FI customers in Brazil and other countries in Latin America.
    (3) Negotiation of terms and conditions with clients and manage execution process for trade finance-related transactions.

    Qualifications:

    - 7 to 10 years of specialized experience, and a minimum of 5 years working with trade finance products, specifically as they relate to LATAM organizations and Financial Institutions.

    They are specifically seeking a Financial Institution Derivative Marketer to join their Marketing Group.  The ideal candidate will be an experienced Derivative Products Sales and Structurer with 15 years' of front office sales experience covering Financial Institutions, preferably covering Fund and Insurance clients. The candidate will help expand a strong Financial Institution platform for interest rate, currency and commodity products.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Handle pricing and execution of various Fixed Income derivative transactions
    • Develop transparent pipeline and tracking of future trades/ deal flow 
    • Credit exposure modelling and trade execution
    • Manage ISDA/documentation process for client deals
    • Interbank trading for USD interest rate swap trading desk to trade direct among other bank counter parts in an alternative hedging, liquidity and risk management capacity

     

    Qualifications:

    Our Client a non US Bank with a rapidly growing presence in the Latin FI space, seeks a Director or Executive Director level Latin America Corporate Derivatives Marketer to join its Marketing Department. This person will be responsible for the origination of interest rate and currency derivative product transactions for Latin American corporate clients.

     

    Responsibilities:

    The candidate will work with the existing members of the project finance and LatAm group to support the activities of this product area, primarily to develop corporate hedging transactions in Latin America, principally Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru. The successful candidate will be expected to learn quickly our entire suite of pricing models, credit exposure models and all relevant rules and regulations relating to transaction management from inception to closing a deal.  The candidate will also provide support on the ongoing project finance hedge business. Some Travel to this Clients Latin American Rep offices to meet with corporate clients is required.

    Qualifications:

    The Ideal Candidate's Qualifications:
    (1) Fluency in Spanish preferred, and if possible, fluency or at least proficiency in Portuguese.
    (2) 10+ years of prior experience of managing corporate derivative marketing relationships in one or more LatAm countries with derivative product experience in currency and interest rate hedging - marketing directly of swaps and options for liability or asset risk management. The ideal candidate would most likely come from a corporate derivatives marketing desk. The candidate should be able to show that they were the primary person responsible for a number of corporate relationships and not acting only in a "support" role. Thus, the candidate will have an existing Latin American corporate client list.
